    just b/c he has a different point of view than what is currently politically correct? we should be more "open" and respectful than that.

  2. John Yoo should not be teaching law anywhere. He is a war criminal, as defined by Nuremberg, the Geneva Conventions and our own U.S. criminal codes. Torture is never legal, and Professor Yoo's legal research saying torture is legal was shoddy, unethical, immoral and completely flawed. This was not an expression of his "point of view." His gave legal advice-- resulting in actions which lead to inhumane treatment, torture and murder.
    The Northern District of California Federal Court ruled June 12 that Yoo can be sued for torture of a U.S. citizen, Jose Padilla, who is asking for $1 in damages.
    Yoo should be dismissed, disbarred and prosecuted as a war criminal. It's a simple as that.
